Allow the Word to do its work in you
The Word of God can transform your life if you allow it. Read it for what it truly is: a special message from God, full of love and wisdom. If you read it every day and allow its truths to penetrate your heart, you will see your thoughts, your desires, and your attitudes align more and more each day with the will of God.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

When you allow it, the Word of God penetrates the depths of your being and reveals what pleases God and what does not. If you want to live the life God desires for you, you must remain firm in Him. In the Bible you will find the daily nourishment you need so as not to stray from the Lord’s path.
Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.

The law of the Lord is perfect,

Read the Bible every day and allow it to do its work in you. You will see how you grow in the Lord and learn to live within His will in every situation.

Who are you trying to impress?
So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

For whom do we do things? Who do we want to impress? These are important questions. If all the good things we do are meant to impress those around us, the Bible says that when people applaud and congratulate us, we will have received our reward. But it will be a fleeting reward: once it comes, it will pass away.
God does not want us to live focused on impressing people around us in order to gain their applause and approval. He calls us to serve others with love, to help and bless selflessly, always seeking to obey God and do His will. Our focus should be to please God and walk the path He has set before us.
Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.
- Ephesians 6:6
Serve others, work well, give your best in every opportunity that comes your way. But do this as an offering and service to God, out of obedience and love for the Lord. The reward He will give you is eternal and far more valuable than the applause of men.
His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!

Overcome These 4 Negative Feelings and Live Better
We all go through better and worse moments, but it is not good to remain trapped in negative feelings. With God’s help, you can overcome these feelings and live more happily. The first step is to believe in Jesus. The second is to create a new habit of thinking about positive things.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Which of these feelings do you want to overcome today?
- Anger - A feeling of intense rage, loss of control, or indignation.
Biblical Response: “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry” (Ephesians 4:26) - Anxiety - A feeling of excessive worry and fear about the future. A mind divided between the present and the future, creating a sense of suffocation in the mind and heart.
Biblical Response: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6) - Resentment - A feeling of ongoing hurt caused by someone else’s offense or injustice.
Biblical Response: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32) - Despair - A feeling of hopelessness and helplessness.
Biblical Response: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Read and meditate on these passages. They emphasize the importance of trusting in God, praying, forgiving, and hoping in His promises. Then ask God to help strengthen your faith in your daily walk. God is with you!
