Today's Word

Do you value and love your brothers and sisters?

How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!
- Psalm 133:1

God did not create us to live alone. He chose us and called us to be a united family that glorifies His name. In order to be united, we must genuinely love our brothers and sisters, and to love others we must first love God.

One of the things God gives us when He receives us as His children is His love. But along with His love, we also receive the command to love others.

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
- John 15:12

And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
- 1 John 4:21

Examine your heart today and evaluate your level of love for others. Ask the Lord to help you love your brothers and sisters in the faith and to see them as He sees them. Open your heart to God’s work and allow Him to give you greater love for His family and for everyone around you.

Each person was created in the image of the Lord. Learn to appreciate God’s design in others. Treat people with respect and dignity, just as you would like to be treated. And remember, the more you open your heart to the Holy Spirit of God, the more love you will feel for those around you, especially for your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Take advantage of today to tell a brother or sister in the faith how important they are to you. Call them or send them a message of encouragement and gratitude. You can also share a Bible verse with a word of encouragement.

Begin today to value and love the brothers and sisters God has given you.

Receive God's Touch in Your Life

In life, we develop relationships with other people through communication. We can know the Lord when we spend time talking to Him. It's impossible to have intimacy with God without prayer.

God hears every word when we pray, and if we ask according to His perfect and pleasing will, He grants it. This is one of the keys to the Christian life: much prayer, much power; little prayer, little power.

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
Jeremiah 29:12

The verse Jeremiah 29:12 reminds us of God's promise to always be present in our lives, ready to listen when we call out to Him. It's a reminder that at all times, God is willing to hear us, welcome our prayers, and answer the desires of our hearts.

In our moments of joy, and gratitude, and even in times of despair, we can seek God's presence in prayer, confident that He is willing to listen to us. This reminds us of the importance of constant communion with our Heavenly Father, our need to lay our burdens and joys before Him, knowing that He cares for us.

In prayer, we find peace, strength, and guidance. It's a precious moment of spiritual intimacy where we place our anxieties and gratitude before our Heavenly Father, strengthening our faith and connection with Him. Therefore, let us be encouraged to seek His presence and pray to Him, trusting that He will listen and respond according to His will, for He is faithful to His promises.

Take some time now to talk to your Heavenly Father.

Are You Free in Jesus?

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
- Galatians 5:1

What does it mean to have freedom? The world tells us that it means doing whatever we want without any restrictions. You're free to make choices, even when they're wrong. But whoever chooses to sin is not truly free, they are a slave to sin. And the slavery of sin leads to spiritual death.

Freedom is more than just making choices. It means not living under constant oppression. The true freedom that comes from Jesus allows us to choose what is right and sets us free from the oppression of sin. In Jesus, you are free to say “no” to the slavery of sin and, with Him, live a life that pleases God.

When Christ sets us free, we experience an unmatched peace and genuine joy, because He frees us from the chains of sin, the fear of death, resentment, guilt, and so many other things that once held us captive.

For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.
- Romans 6:6

Are you free in Jesus? If you haven’t yet experienced true freedom in Christ, call out to Him in prayer right now. Pray that He will bring His freedom into your heart and help you live the abundant life He has prepared for you. Don’t wait any longer to start enjoying freedom in Christ.
