Jehovah Jireh, the God of provision!
Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?” “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” 8 Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together.
- Genesis 22:7–8
In the hustle and bustle of daily life, how often do we feel trapped, with no way out? Difficulties at work, financial struggles, lack of time to devote to family, and even to take care of ourselves.
How many times do we ask ourselves, “What will happen from here on?” Then our hearts burn within us, we look up to heaven, and we entrust our future to God. It may seem like our “last resort,” but it should be our first! Everything comes from God, time, provision, and comfort. He is our Provider: Jehovah Jireh.
At such moments, we turn our eyes back to the One from whom we should never have looked away. God will always be the best way forward. When we place our trust in Him, He acts!
Now, God wants to do even more for you. He does not want to be only the way out, but also the way in. Do not call on God only in emergencies; experience an entire journey with Him. Invite Jehovah Jireh to provide for every area of your life—He wants to be part of your story.

Word of the Day: God wants to set you free today!
Often, we only truly value freedom when it's taken away from us. Sin and the devil seek to enslave us and prevent us from living the best of God's plans for our lives, but the Lord came to set us free from all evil. Believe in Jesus and ask Him to break every chain that hinders you from living for God! Be completely free in Christ!
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
John 8:36
Jesus is the one who can truly set you free. He has the power to release you from any bondage that might be hindering your growth in the Lord. The freedom that God gives us is internal, it brings light into our lives, brings much peace, and fills our hearts with joy.
13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Colossians 1:13-14
Is there something you need to be set free from today? Is there any fear in your heart or any attitude that prevents you from living in the total freedom that God desires for you? Go to the Lord! Open your heart to His work, let Him cleanse your being and fill you with His Holy Spirit. The Lord will hear your cry and bring the deliverance you need to live the abundant life He has for you. He does this all because he has loved you since before you were even born.
This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles.Psalm 34:6
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:31-32

Day Before Yesterday's Word
Do not surrender before your enemies
In Psalm 59, we see David’s deep frustration in the face of persecution by his enemies. Saul was seeking to kill him and kept him under close watch. David was troubled and prayed to God to deliver him from his enemies and bring him to a safe place. Have you ever felt that way cornered and hunted?
However, David turned to God. He poured out his heart to Him and brought his frustration before the Lord. We see that David even called his enemies "dogs." He was truly angry. Yet, David did not surrender to the power of those who sought to harm him. He continued to trust and wait for the manifestation of God’s power.
You are my strength, I watch for you;
you, God, are my fortress,
my God on whom I can rely.
God will go before me
and will let me gloat over those who slander me.
- Psalm 59:9–10
David knew that, sooner or later, God would bring justice. God was his defense, his strength, and David knew he could take refuge in Him while he waited.
Can you, like David, stand firm in the Lord amid life’s frustrations and sorrows? When we turn to God and fix our eyes on Him, our perspective shifts. Instead of focusing on our enemies, we see the greatness of the Lord and our spirit is renewed. And in that moment, we can boldly say, as David did:
But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble.
You are my strength, I sing praise to you;
you, God, are my fortress,
my God on whom I can rely.
- Psalm 59:16–17
