Discover the 3 pillars of the Christian life
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
- 1 Corinthians 13:13
What is most important for the Christian life? Obeying the rules? Doing good things? The Bible teaches that the most important thing is to have faith, hope, and, above all, love. Without love, nothing we do has value, even if it is something incredible. So, our main focus should be on growing in these 3 areas.
Look deep into your heart and ask God to show you how you can be made stronger in these areas. Do you need more faith? Remember what God has done for you and what Jesus means in your life. Renew your commitment to Him and delight in the joy of your salvation.
But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
- Romans 10:8-10
Maybe you need to strengthen your hope. Don't forget that God holds the future in His hands and His plans for your life are good.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
- Jeremiah 29:11
But if your need is to fill your heart and your life with more love, go to the source of love: God.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
- 1 John 4:7-9
In which of these 3 pillars do you want to grow?

Jesus is God
We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
- 1 John 5:20
Many speak of Jesus as a great prophet and teacher, a righteous man who taught beautiful truths. But believing only that is not enough, because Jesus is much more than that and it is very important that we understand this clearly. Jesus is God, and it is only through Him that we are saved.
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
- Acts 4:12
The blood Jesus shed on the cross was the perfect sacrifice. It is Jesus who cleanses us from all sin, frees us from the power of death, and opens the door to eternal life. It’s up to us only to believe and accept. Through our faith in Jesus, we receive peace with God and salvation for all eternity.
Have you accepted Jesus as Lord of your life?
If so, praise God with all your heart. Thank Him for coming in the flesh, for entering the world in the person of Jesus so we could have peace, hope, and eternal life.
But if you haven’t yet, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. With Him, you will find true peace and live for all eternity.

Be a true disciple of Jesus
Which of these categories do you fit into today: a non-practicing Christian, someone sympathetic to Christianity, or a faithful disciple of Jesus?
The first type of person is the nominal believer. They consider themselves Christian but, in practice, do not live out Christ in their lives. The second group consists of people who feel very comfortable in the evangelical environment; they participate in some things, but have not yet truly committed themselves to following Jesus. The third group is made up of those who follow Christian principles at all costs, with love, faith, and obedience to the Lord.
Reflect on this: Jesus calls you to be His disciple! But what is a disciple? To be a disciple is to be a follower, to learn from Jesus and apply what you have learned in your life. This is much more than learning a theory. It is a lifestyle guided by a relationship with Jesus. It is seeking to become more like Christ each day.
In addition, a disciple makes other disciples. This means teaching others to follow Jesus.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
- Matthew 28:19–20
So then, do you accept the challenge of being a disciple of Jesus?
