There are many Bible scriptures that encourage us to seek the Lord. Jesus Himself, in Matthew 6:33-34, commands us to "seek His kingdom first". But have you ever wondered why the Bible urges us to "seek the Lord"?
When we turn our hearts to seek the Lord, something wonderful happens—we begin to reflect His glory and radiance. When we are downcast, seeking the Lord lifts us up. When we are anxious, it brings us peace. When we are troubled, it brings over us a calmness that surpasses all understanding.
