YES! God IS faithful! One very important characteristic of God is His faithfulness. God is faithful in everything He does, and this gives us security because we know we can trust Him. See how the faithfulness of God is so good:
1. God is faithful, He is the Rock
He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he.

God's faithfulness never fails. Every single time He does what is just and good, without error. When God acts, we can have confidence that He will do what is best because He is faithful.
2. If God promised, He is faithful to fulfill!
God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill?

God does not lie or change His mind. If God makes a promise, He is faithful to fulfill it. God's faithfulness is firm, and true, and does not depend on any external circumstances. When God promises, He delivers!
3. Faithful protection
But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

God's faithfulness guarantees us security. If we love Jesus, we have the assurance that He will protect us from destruction. The devil may try to take us with him to hell, but God is faithful and takes care of us.
4. Faithful to forgive
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

God is also faithful in His forgiveness. When we sin, He gives us the opportunity to repent. If we acknowledge our sins and confess them to God, He forgives us. We have guaranteed forgiveness!
5. The Lord, your God, is faithful!
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

God is faithful and kind to His people, and to everyone who obeys His Word. Obeying the Lord's commandments is how we should respond to His faithfulness.
6. The Lord's faithfulness saves us
Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,
who daily bears our burdens.
Our God is a God who saves;
from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death.

You are not alone, God is with you, bearing all your burdens. He has saved you from death and sin through Jesus. God's faithfulness has saved us!
7. God will always remain faithful

If we died with him,
we will also live with him;
if we endure,

If we disown him,
he will also disown us;
if we are faithless,
he remains faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.
